(IndochinaKings) The best example of the beauty of the Buddhist architecture of Luang Prabang on the northern tip of the peninsula of Luang Prabang, Laos is the Wat Xieng Thong Temple (Temple of the Golden City). This Wat Xieng Thong Temple, built in the year 1560, is a masterpiece decorated with mosaics and carvings in wood that Nam Khan raises next to the Mekong River and the River in the historic centre of the city of Luang Prabang, Laos.

(IndochinaKIngs) Wat Si Saket (or Sisaket Temple) is probably the oldest temple in the Lao capital still standing. But it’s newer than it looks, having been built in 1818–so many of the others have been the victim of a string of wars in the 20th century. Just across the street from the Presidential Palace and just a block from the Mekong River, it’s most famous for its collection of 2000 or so ceramic and silver Buddha statues on display in its cloisters.

Gleaming behind these forests are towers with ancient pagodas and temples. This place used to be the capital of Buddhism with a famous Zen monastery founded by King Tran Nhan Tong (1258-1308).

If Hanoi has One-pillar pagoda, Hue is renowned for its Thien Mu pagoda. The architecture, location and history makes Thien Mu pagoda among the top attractions to see in Hue.

(IndochinaKings) Wat Preah Keo Morakot (Silver Pagoda), the pagoda's official name is Preah Vihear Preah Keo Morakot, is located in the southern portion of the Royal Palace complex. The pagoda was formerly known as Wat Uborsoth Rotannaram because it is where the King worshiped, prayed and practiced every Buddhist Silas Day. In the additional, the royal family and officials also held Buddhist ceremonies there.This pagoda has no monks.
