The Dalat Education College, which was built in 1927 by the French, formerly known as Grand Lycée Yersin. It is designed and directed by Moncet Architects. The World Association of Architects (UIA) acknowledged the Dalat Education College to be one of the 1000 most original of the 21st century.
The Dalat Education College was built in the shape of a special arc, with bricks were red bricks which were transported from Europe and red tile were transported from France. Because of the erosion of time, the tile which has been damaged is now being replaced.
The highlight of the arcade house is the bell tower. The outside of the bell tower used to have a clock but it has been dismantled, visitors can only see the vestiges of the large clock printed on the brick. There is also no bell at the top of the bell tower, it was probably dismantled during the old regime.
