EXPLORING THE VIBRANT WILDLIFE AT VINPEARL SAFARI PHU QUOC

Nestled amidst the captivating landscapes of Ganh Dau, Phu Quoc Island, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc Animal Care and Conservation Park stands as a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Established by VinGroup on December 24, 2015, this sprawling wildlife sanctuary swiftly emerged as an unmissable attraction on the idyllic island of Phu Quoc.

Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc – Paradise of the world of semi-wild animals.

Encompassing an expansive 380 hectares, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc transcends the boundaries of a typical amusement park, evolving into a sanctuary for over 4,000 individualsrepresenting more than 200 distinct species. From majestic Bengal tigers to graceful giraffes, the park boasts an impressive array of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, proboscis monkeys, and white rhinoceroses.

This place is currently home to more than 4,000 individuals of more than 200 different animal species on an area of 380 hectares.

The park is divided into two main zones: the Open Zoo and the Safari Zone. Each zone offers visitors a captivating journey through diverse ecosystems tailored to the biological behaviors of the resident species. Guests embark on safari adventures aboard specialized vehicles, experiencing the unique concept of “caged humans, free animals”.

At the Open Zoo, visitors can see animals in open cages, separated only by moats or medium-sized fences.
In the wilderness area, visitors observe various animal species roaming freely from the comfort of a safari bus, following the “caged human, free aniamals” model.

Beyond its main attractions, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc features additional functional areas such as quarantine isolation zones, tourist product shopping areas, and a veterinary hospital. With the aim of caring for and conserving animals not only in Vietnam but also in the region, the Vinpearl Safari veterinary hospital gathers top experts in wildlife veterinary care from both domestic and international sources, including those from South Africa, Australia, and India.

In addition to animal care and conservation efforts, Vinpearl Safari Phú Quốc offers bird shows that highlight the natural behaviors of various species, providing guests with educational insights into the distinctive traits of each species. Moreover, interactive activities and feeding sessions are available in designated areas for giraffes, camels, and Asian elephants, allowing visitors to engage directly with the animals in a unique and enriching experience.

At the event, under the auspices of the World Records Union (WorldKings), representatives of the Vietnam Records Organization attended to honor Vinpearl Joint Stock Company with the World Record certificate.

Participating in the event, the Vietnam Record Association – Vietnam Records Organization was represented by Dr. Thang Van Phuc – former Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Chairman of the Vietnamese Record Association, Mr. Hoang Thai Tuan Anh – Secretary General of the Indochina Record Organization, Northern Representative of the Vietnam Record Organization, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuong Van – Deputy Secretary General and Head of the International Department of the Vietnam Record Organization.

After the thorough examination of the registration dossier and direct assessment by the Vietnam Records Organization, the World Record Union (WorldKings) officially recognized Vinpearl Joint Stock Company for the World Record, titled “Owner Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc – The safari on the island conserved the world’s largest number of individual animals of diverse species.“

Dr. Thang Van Phuc – former Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Chairman of the Vietnam Record Association was authorized by WorldKings to present the World Record certificate to representatives of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company. 

The establishment of Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc has added an impressive highlight to Phu Quoc tourism, contributing to making Phu Quoc a renowned tourist island regionally and globally. This is one of the various efforts by Vingroup to promote tourism in Phu Quoc.
