This year, Laos and the US also celebrate the 5th anniversary of establishing a comprehensive partnership and the 20th anniversary of the US Ambassador Fund for Cultural Preservation.
The Ambassador Fund for Cultural Preservation in the Plain of Jars will be used to establish a heritage database and a GIS on the list of stone jars in the entire population and a capacity building program for officials, staff in charge of heritage conservation.
