Fansipan Peak – The highest mountain top in Indochina

Fansipan Mountain is located 9km south-west of Sapa Townlet in the Hoang Lien Mountain Range. Fansipan is branded "the Roof of Indochina" at the height of 3,143m; Fansipan is to be approved as one of the very few eco-tourist spots of Vietnam, with about 2,024 floral varieties and 327 faunal species.

Nomination for “The Largest whale shark’s skin in Indochina”

The whale shark is one of the biggest marine species in the world. On May 18 2010, Mr Dai Thanh Hao, along with  fishermen in Ganh Hao, Dong Hai District, Bac Lieu Province found the dead whale shark and due to the traditional custom of local people, its corpse was brought to Lang Ong Nam Hai.

Since the first appearance of Muong Thanh Hotel in 1996 in Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province, the hotel chain with the same name have been developing and spreading across many cities and provinces in Vietnam.
