Nam Et-Phou Louey National Park is home to many wild natural sceneries, attracting numerous tourists around the world for many years. Coming here, visitors can enjoy the romantic Nam Nern stream while rowing a boat, watch the famous waterfalls of Northern Laos such as Sa Lery waterfall, Tadloun waterfall, Phavang waterfall, or can immerse themselves in the hot springs of Hiem stream, Nammeuang stream.

During the journey, tourists can visit the Viengxay Historic Site, a revolutionary base that sheltered the Laos People’s Revolutionary Party from its formation until the resistance war against foreign invaders and liberated the country. This is an area with many rugged mountains with a great number of beautiful caves. Viengxay has also received the ASEAN Tourism Standard Award.

 

Nam Et-Phou Louey National Park is located in the northeast of Laos, 600 km away from Vientiane, with more than 401,000 hectares and spreads over 10 districts in three provinces of Luangprabang, Houaphan, and Xiengkhouang. These three provinces have hundreds of kilometers of border with Vietnam and have attracted many Vietnamese tourists.

The Laos government is actively directing local authorities to build the necessary infrastructure and procedures to restore the tourism industry and the economy. Nevertheless, they also gradually adjust regulations on the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic, in order to create favorable conditions for tourists, investors and workers to enter Laos.

Currently, the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in Laos has decreased significantly, including both infected cases and deaths. All the operations have returned to normal.
