The airline suspended almost all flights as the country experienced a second wave of Covid-19 following an outbreak in April.

Domestic flights are to resume on 25 June in accordance with measures determined by the National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

Due to the relatively low number of passengers who have had two doses of vaccine, the opening schedule will be rather limited. Provinces served by two return flights per week include Luang Prabang, Pakse, and Oudomxay. Luang Namtha will have three return flights per week and Xieng Khouang will be served with one weekly return flight.

A weekly return flight to Savannakhet will commence on 7 July.

Laos extended its Covid-19 lockdown measures on Saturday, with a provision allowing domestic flights for passengers who have been fully vaccinated with doses of an approved Coivd-19 vaccine.

According to the extended lockdown measures, land and air transportation may resume between Vientiane Capital and other provinces across the country for passengers who have been fully vaccinated with two doses of vaccine without a requirement of 14 days quarantine.

The airline says it will release further information about upcoming flights in the near future.
