On July 18, the Governor of Kandal and Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Cambodian Red Cross, Kong Sophorn, paid a visit to the families affected by the storm on July 5. He brought donations from the Red Cross to be distributed to them. The storm damaged 9 houses in Khsach Kandal district, Kandal province, among the 9 houses, 2 were totally damaged.

The Governor urged the citizens to be careful and to find shelter when the rain and wind become stronger. He also reminded them to not let children play in large bodies of water to prevent drowning.

Each of the families received 30 kg of rice, 1 pack of noodles, 1 pack of sardines, and 4 hundred thousand riels among other things. The Cambodian Red Cross also helped rebuild the 2 houses that were completely damaged by the weather.
